My family and I had a wonderful week together! The house was a perfect layout and super clean with many amenities and the furniture and beds were comfortable. It was on a lake so we had water views from many rooms in the house and in walking distance to the beach, boardwalk and restaurants. I have only great things to say about our stay. The host was great and responsive throughout the booking and during the stay. I’ll definitely rent this house again.

The house is fantastic - clean, and exactly as advertised. Wonderful place for large groups and John is a fantastic, highly communicative host who answered all questions in a timely and pleasant fashion. Would highly recommend the location AND the host!

My family of 11 (6 adults, 5 young kids) had an incredible stay at the property. John was a great host and took really great care of us. The house itself was recently remodeled and has everything you can ask for. There are lots of great touches (outdoor kitchen/grill, outdoor shower, theatre room, pool room, fully equipped kitchen) that made the stay extra comfortable. Whenever we had any questions, John was easy to reach and made us feel very welcome. We would be delighted to come back.

Our stay at John's home was absolutely perfect. The home was clean and had everything you could ask for. We enjoyed having the lake right outside and the easy walk to the beach. Don't hesitate to book this home!

The listing and pictures don't do this property justice. There were so many signature touches of a signed card and wine and chocolates. The rooms each had enough pillow and blankets and the kitchen was well stocked. The kayaks were amazing and a big hit with the family. The garage was fully stocked for all you needed for the beach. The fire pit in the back yard was great for gathering around in the evenings. An amazing property inside and out.

This house was awesome! The setup was perfect -- the backyard, the movie room, the pool table, the location. More than I could have expected. John was a helpful, honest host, staying in touch before, during, and after our stay. I fully recommend this experience!

Great stay in Point Pleasant! The house is in a great location - right on the lake and a close walk to the beach, boardwalk, and restaurants. The house was very clean, well stocked, and has plenty of space for a large group. The house has everything you need for a big group - plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms, a great first floor including huge kitchen and theater room, and an amazing outdoor space right on the lake with beautiful grill/outdoor kitchen setup and fire pit. Highly recommended and we look forward to going back next year!

We booked John's house for a small senior leadership retreat and found it the perfect house for both work-related break-out sessions and bonding time. The location is equidistant from the beach/boardwalk, Red's Lobster Pot, and Patio Bar. It's always a great luxury when you can park your car at the start of the trip and never need it again. The water views are peaceful morning and evening and the backyard setup is perfect for long dinners with large groups. It really was a 10 out of 10 stay for us! Thank's also to our host for the welcoming note and communication during our stay!

This spacious house has it all…from the lake views, to the great outdoor space, to the kitchen where 5 of us had room to prep and cook together …great bedrooms and baths…close enough to walk everywhere…a wonderful theater room and 3rd floor game room. The owners were so nice and extremely gracious and thoughtful. They’ve clearly went out of their way to make their home comfortable in every detail. Can’t wait to return! Made great memories with family and friends.

We had a fantastic time with our extended family. The house was perfect and well outfitted for an extended stay. Great indoor and outdoor spaces for family fun. We look forward to returning!

Wow! Such an amazing experience here. Everything is up to a 5 star hotel standard. Sooo clean and they left flowers and some treats- very thoughtful. We really have no complaints and wish we could have stayed longer for the Thursday night fireworks. If we had more people splitting the cost we absolutely would have. We loved kayaking on the lake and enjoying morning coffee on the dock or sandy area with comfy furniture. Great house and great location.

We can’t say enough about this property and it’s owners! Upon arrival to this immaculate home, we were welcomed with fresh flowers, a bottle of wine, and festive cookies for our 9 year old. The fridge was stocked with a bunch of waters and a variety of coffee was on hand for the Keurig coffee maker...which came in handy after our long cross country flight. The kitchen has just about everything you need...dishes, silverware, and an abundance of coffee mugs & wine glasses...one trip to the store and we were ready to entertain! Speaking of entertaining...the media room is next level with its 6 comfy movie theater chairs and an incredible sound system! We had one rainy day during our trip and instead of it being a bummer...it was actually a treat to watch an Avengers movie on the big screen while enjoying popcorn. Did I mention they have an old school popcorn machine in the movie room? The backyard situated on Lake Louise is the perfect place to enjoy your morning coffee or a late night cocktail. We invited family over to celebrate Father’s Day and it was PERFECT! The set up is amazing with plenty of seating...and the grill was super clean! All the bedrooms are decorated beautifully and have tons of closet space...it was nice to be able to unpack and make ourselves at home. The 3rd floor game room is another treat...late night pool games were so much fun! The small fridge & microwave up there saved us from having to head down to the 1st floor to refill our beverages! 😉 I’m sure I’m missing some details because there are so many wonderful things about this home...it was an amazing vacation at the Jersey Shore, and we will ABSOLUTELY be back! ❤️

Everything about the trip was absolutely first class. We saw pictures online but they don't do the home justice. It is beautifully renovated and has everything you can need. The first floor layout is open and has plenty of seating. The movie room was a great surprise with an amazing surround sound set up and excellent picture quality. The kids watched Disney movies and ate popcorn (from the popcorn machine) for an entire day. The rooms were all spacious and well appointed. The third floor game room with roof deck was great for us to have a drink to wind down the day. All that said, the backyard and location are the highlight of the trip. You have your own beach out back. The kids loved playing in the sand and we sat on the patio relaxing overlooking the lake. Even though you are a short walk to the boardwalk and the beach we spent most of the time in the backyard beach. They stocked the place with food, drinks and snacks upon arrival with a really nice card. Best value for the money we have experienced over years of traveling on VRBO and other similar sites. Book now and you won't be disappointed. Just not the dates we want.

We were 8 people total (4 adults, 4 kids). This house was just perfect for us. The kids enjoyed the back yard area with the sand and the dock. They were very entertained and happy for hours riding in the kayaks and catching crabs during the low tide. As for the house itself, the pictures do not do this property justice. The master bathroom shower was one of my favorites as well as the balcony view. This house is in the perfect location, close enough to walk or drive to the boardwalk and beach, or to just stay and enjoy the lake and the views. John was an excellent host, everything was clean and tidy for our arrival. We appreciated the card, fresh flowers, and wine!

We rented this property for my daughters sweet 16 to stay with family & her friends. The property surpassed our expectations! The home is immaculate with every detail thought of including a stocked coffee bar, bottle of wine, & fresh flowers upon arrival. So much to do between easy walk to the ocean and boardwalk, kayaking in the backyard, relaxing on the backyard beach and around the fire pit, and a fantastic theater room! John was accessible and helpful with any questions. My only problem was we did not stay long enough. We would definitely rent this beautiful home again!

Perfect location and perfect house for our group. 6 adults, one toddler and 3 babies. Home was very well appointed and comfortable ,with space for everyone. Movie room was a big hit!! Outdoor kitchen space is amazing , as was the nightly outdoor fires. Easy walk to beach, boardwalk and restaurants. Definitely recommend this home! Everything you need for a beach vacation! Host, John is great and very welcoming.

The house is beautiful, very clean, well appointed and perfect for our week long Executive Retreat. Jersey shore in September...perfection.

My son and his family moved to Germany four years ago. For his summer vacation he wanted to show his children, ages 7, 5 and 8 months, how wonderful vacationing at the Jersey Shore can be. John and Jana's luxurious home and hospitality did not disappoint. We enjoyed the beautifully appointed home which had fresh flowers along with a warm welcome note waiting for us upon arrival. Fabulous views from our private 'beach' and dock equipped with kiddie pool, beach toys, kayacks and tubes. Firepit stocked with wood for night time smores and storytelling. When we did venture off the property, the boardwalk and beach was a manageable 10 minutes walk. Highly recommended vacation home!

Thank you John & Jana for creating such an incredible place for us to call home for our family vacation. Definitely one of the best waterfront properties you will ever find at the Jersey shore. The house had more than enough room for our entire family (10 people) and plenty of space to spread out. The kitchen was phenomenal and equipped for any gourmet chef with the 48" Blue star range, subzero fridge and ample counter space. The outdoor kitchen with oversized grill made cooking with a view so enjoyable... And a mini fridge out there was a great touch! If it rained or if we just needed an excuse to get out of the sun, the theater room was such a treat! Also, the game room on the third floor was a great escape. Even better than the house was the backyard patio, beach and dock. Everything was in pristine condition including the kayaks and fire pit for late night s'mores! Such a wonderful time and great memories that we hope to be back again asap.

You can literally just pack clothes! This rental has it all- nice sheets and towels, beach chairs, fully stocked w kitchen supplies, amazing outdoor area, and so much more! We had a multigenerational group from 3 months to 92 years young and we all had the perfect vacation!! Working with John made things go so smoothly and we are fortunate to have found this Rental! Can’t wait for next year!!

House was perfect and well organized. The hosts were very accommodating. Location was within walking distance to the beach & boardwalk. Our stay was wonderful!

Wonderful trip for my 30th birthday. The place was amazing and absolutely massive! We barbecued out back all day Saturday and watch the UFC fights in the indoor movie theater. Would 100% recommend this house.

If you're looking to splurge and stay with a large family or group at Point Pleasant, you wont be disappointed in this house. From the amazing kitchen (indoor and outdoor), to the 6 person movie room, outdoor seating area, sand for kids and expansive home, you will have lots to do. You also get passes to the local beach, which, even in peak season, is pretty easy to find a great spot. You also get access to the lake if you have a boat or use the single kayaks. You'll have a great time.

This is a fantastic opportunity for anyone looking to stay at the Jersey shore. A short walk to boardwalk or enjoy the lake. John was a great host. Highly recommend.
